Rue de la Boucherie

Wander one of Limoges' most picturesque half-timbered streets, originally named in the Middle Ages for its butchers’ shops but now dotted with sweet little bistros and small stores. Where the road bends, the tiny 1475 Chapelle St-Aurélien is crammed full of colorful statuary and dedicated to the patron saint of butchers.
