Plages d'Anglet

North of Pointe St-Martin, the adrenaline-pumping surfing beaches of Anglet (the final 't' is pronounced) continue northwards for more than 4km. Don't miss Anglet Surf Avenue, a surfers' "Hall of Fame" trail along the beachfront promenade near Anglet's main surf club. Concrete and bronze plaques embedded in the ground feature the footprints – in the typical stance on their board – of some of the world's most celebrated riders from 1930 to the present day.
