Aquarium de Biarritz

Housed in a wonderful art-deco building near the old port, Biarritz's aquarium is seething with underwater life from the Bay of Biscay and beyond, including huge aquariums of sharks (seven different species in all), playful gray seals (watch them being fed each day at 10.30am and 5pm) and tropical reef fish, as well as exhibits exploring Biarritz's whaling past.
