Museo de Arte Religoso La Merced

Housed in La Merced convent, Cali's oldest building, this museum has an extensive collection of colonial religious paintings and relics. It's worth a visit even if religious art is not your thing, just to check out the charming 16th-century structure and its three internal courtyards.

If you go on weekday mornings you can watch the nuns making hostia (Communion bread).
