Museo Arqueológico de Córdoba

Córdoba's excellent archaeological museum traces the city's many changes in size, appearance and lifestyle from pre-Roman to early Reconquista times. Its collection, one of Spain's largest, includes some fine sculpture, an impressive coin collection, and an array of finds relating to domestic life and religion; explanations are provided in English and Spanish. In the basement, you can walk through the excavated remains of the city's Roman theater.
