Musée St-Raymond

Originally a refuge for the poor, this historic brick building beside the Basilique St-Sernin is an archaeological museum packed with an astonishingly rich collection of Roman sculpture and ancient sarcophagi.

It's generally well worth the extra €5 for cleverly designed temporary exhibitions. In 2020 these included a fascinating examination of the city under Visigoth rule 1600 years ago.
