Musée Fermat

The 17th-century polymath Pierre de Fermat grew up in this 15th/16th-century house which contains a much-expanded museum and hands-on experiential center to encourage visitors of all ages to (re)ignite a fascination for mathematics. After assembling colored tiles to illustrate Pythagoras' theory, try one of countless maths games or take the spiral staircase up the tower for sublime views over Beaumont's tiled roofs.

During the museum's redevelopment the tower and occasional exhibitions are still likely to open.
