Marielyst Strand

Stretching around 14km along Falster’s southeast coast, this paradise strip of dazzling white sand seems to be backed by nothing more than forest and a wide dune area topped by reed-grasses. In fact, amid the trees are thousands of holiday homes, but tight building regulations keep them out of sight and well spaced. This means that even in summer, despite considerable crowds, you should be able to find a patch of sand for yourself.
