One of several imposing colonial buildings on Sir Baron Jayathilaka Mawatha. the grandly restored Lloyd’s Buildings were built in 1908 for the Freudenberg import company, and once housed the American Consulate in Sri Lanka, before being taken over by Lloyd's of London.
