Laksala

Part of a large government-run chain of arts-and-crafts shops, Laksala offers pretty much every craft and product made in Sri Lanka, from tea and cashew nuts to carved elephants, dance masks and handmade jewelry and clothing. There's another outlet in the National Museum and one near the Dutch Hospital.
