Jardin Botanique

These attractive botanical gardens on Bordeaux's Right Bank are divided into six different themed zones, including a serene water garden with impressive lilies, a vertical garden planted with vines and other climbers, Mediterranean greenhouses and a communal garden tended by green-fingered locals. Temporary exhibitions are held in the small exhibition space, and a little boutique is expected to open in the distinctly incongruous concrete bunker resembling a giant Teletubbies-style pebble house.
