Hat Bo Phut

Just beyond Fisherman’s Village, Hat Bo Phut curves around the northeast coast for a couple of kilometers. The sand here is more golden and coarse compared with Chaweng, and while the water can be murkier, the beach remains pleasant for long walks and quiet sunbathing. The western end is more peaceful, backed by small resorts and swaying palms, and the gentle slope of the shoreline makes it a good spot to linger at sunset or watch fishing boats head out in the early evening. The views are scenic to Ko Pha-Ngan, an island that acts as a buffer to seasonal winds and calms the waters.
