The Gothic Grote Kerk, on the southern outskirts of town, is renowned for its triple nave, tower galleries and a dazzling oak choir screen dating from the 16th century. Its main organ, dating from 1780, is also known as the zwaluwnestorgel ('swallow-nest organ') due to its location against the wall of the tower.
