Laid out in wooded parklands less than a mile south of downtown, the Dallas Heritage Village is a living-history museum comprising 38 historic structures, relocated from their original sites. Ranging from a tipi to a Civil War–era farmhouse, they serve to illuminate life in North Texas between around 1840 and 1910.
