One of England's premier birdwatching sites, Cley Marshes hosts more than 300 resident bird species and numerous migratory visitors – all easily spotted from the visitor center and a network of walking trails and bird hides tucked among the golden reeds. Marsh harriers, bitterns and bearded reedlings are top spots here.
In the (free) visitor center and cafe, seats and telescopes line up beside vast picture windows with panoramic reserve views.
