Central Point

Built in 1914, the handsome, colonnaded Central Bank building, known locally as Central Point, features a riot of Greco-Roman detailing and the tallest chandelier in Asia. On the ground and first floor is a well-presented museum of old coins and currency that's worth the time just for the display on why bartering a cow for fish was a bad idea, thus leading to the invention of currency.
