Casa Museo Mario Vargas Llosa

The house where Peruvian writer, activist and Nobel Prize in Literature recipient Mario Vargas Llosa was born has been converted into a creative museum. Holograms, rooms-turned-stages of scenes from his novels, original manuscripts and interactive displays illuminate the author's involvement in Latin America's modern history – making the museum not just for his fans. Obligatory tours are in Spanish but self-explanatory enough to be worthwhile.
