Casa Fabiola – Donación Mariano Bellver

Casa Fabiola, a 16th-century Santa Cruz mansion, provides the atmospheric setting for a 567-work art collection donated to Seville by the Bilbaoan collector Mariano Bellver. Comprising paintings, sculptures, porcelain and religious pieces, the collection features romantic depictions of 19th-century Seville and surrounding countryside, Semana Santa, festivals, traditional patios, Roma people and pastoral scenes of romerías (pilgrimages). Works are by Spanish artists including Valeriano Domiguez Bécquer and Gonzalo Bilbao, along with British painters Robert Kemm and John Phillips.
