Caballerizas Reales

These elegant stables were built on the orders of King Felipe II in 1570 as a center for developing the tall Spanish thoroughbred warhorse (caballo andaluz). The center still breeds these fine horses as well as running riding courses. You can watch training from 11am in the morning, or attend the 70-minute show that sets equestrian maneuvers to flamenco music and dance.
