A Casa do João

A famous spot in town for fish, especially renowned for traíra (a predatory fish), which comes fried whole. There are also soups, ceviches and several other dishes on offer, many smothered by heavy sauces. It's a big operation but runs very efficiently with solicitous service. All the furniture here is made from reclaimed wood from fallen trees in the area.
