Shafik Meghji

Shafik is an award-winning travel writer, journalist and author based in South London. He has worked on all seven continents but specializes in Latin America and Asia. His adventures have taken him through the Amazon, across to Easter Island and down to Antarctica. A co-author of more than 40 guidebooks, Shafik writes for publications such as BBC Travel, Wanderlust and Atlas Obscura, as well as Lonely Planet. He wrote the book "Crossed off the Map: Travels in Bolivia."
