Piera Chen

Piera is an anglophone writer and translator from Hong Kong, living in Taipei. She has (co-)authored 20 travel guides for Lonely Planet. Her poems appear in Narrative, Driftwood Press, Shō Poetry Journal and elsewhere. Her translation of a poem was a Highly Commended entry for the 2024 Stephen Spender Prize. If writing is the most disembodied of the arts, she believes travel writing and poetry are genres that make it less so. This is why she loves both.
