About Francesca
Francesca Specter is a freelance journalist living between Lisbon and London. A fun fact is that she's only ever lived in cities beginning with L, having grown up in Liverpool and studied English Literature at the University of Leeds. Having written a non-fiction book called Alonement, she loves solo time in all its iterations, from a table for one at her favourite brunch spots – novel in hand – to independent travel adventures. Having recently moved to Portugal, she's been exploring her local Lisbon neighbourhood of Lapa (!) and exploring what the country has to offer, from national parks to unsung regional cuisines – if you've any recommendations, she's all ears.
