This isolated Central Plateau national park features glacial lakes and valleys, alpine flora and the rugged dolerite Mt Jerusalem (1459m). It’s a favourite of experienced bushwalkers with a passion for challenging, remote hiking. The most popular day walk here is to the summit of Mt Jerusalem.
The park is reached from Mole Creek by taking Mersey Forest Rd to Lake Rowallan. The last 11km is on well-maintained gravel roads.
