Dinosaur Ridge

Colorado

Two interpretive trails as well as a self-guided tour showcase the impressive footprints and sandstone-encased fossils that make up Dinosaur Ridge. If little legs make hiking tough, a 45-minute guided bus tour is also offered and includes three stops and touchable fossils. A small exhibit hall with loads of fossils and hands-on exhibits is a hit with kids.

Located about 2 miles north of Morrison.
