The World of Shadi Abdel Salam, named for the late cult-film director, painter, script writer and set designer born in Alexandria in 1930, shows a display of Abdel Salam's wonderful drawings of exotic film sets heavily inspired by ancient Egypt. His most famous film, The Night of Counting the Years (Al Momia in Arabic), and other films are shown regularly in the afternoon.
