Where northern Anfushi hits the sea, you can wander among huge wooden vessels in various states of construction. In small workshops, craftspeople make accessories for the boats, such as intricately carved helms (steering wheels) and cabinets. It is off the beaten track and not recommended for women travellers on their own.
