Graced with murals of the giants of Mexican song and enlivened by its own songsters – and an extensive tequila, mezcal and food menu – Tenampa is a festive cantina on the north side of Plaza Garibaldi. If serenading at other tables is not enough, request a song (M$50 to M$100) from the mariachi, originating from across the country. A visit here is obligatory.
The Mexican food menu includes plenty of shareable snacks, meat grills and vegetarian enchiladas.
