Inside Frognerparken's 18th-century Frogner Manor, this charming museum charts Oslo's history, from its founding around 1000 and its survival after a devastating fire through to the 20th-century war years. There are also exhibits covering the city's importance in the fight for women's rights, equality for the LGBTIQ+ community and the struggle for racial justice in Norway. The City Lab has changing exhibitions created by locals, while on the 2nd floor the Oslo Theatre Museum celebrates all things theatrical.
