About 1 mile upstream from Tintern Abbey, this fetchingly restored Victorian train station has old railway coaches housing a tourist information desk, temporary exhibitions and a cafe. There is a large grassy play area for kids, as well as picnic spots and easy riverside walks.
You can walk between here and the abbey along the river.
