Old Bell Museum

Set in a former inn, slaughterhouse and temperance hotel, this local history museum explores the the town's long history (granted a Royal Charter in 1227, it's the oldest borough in Wales). It features scale models of the castle, artifacts from excavations, and exhibits on the Cambrian Railway, the local workhouse and construction of half-timbered buildings.
