Several miles of boardwalk and forest trail wind through this nature preserve, which is popular with families looking to give little ones a place to stretch their legs. This is a great area for birding: herons, egrets and eagles are all present in the area. Reptiles like turtles and even the occasional alligator might also be spotted.
