North Face Trail

From the top station of Allmendhubel funicular, you can set out on many walks, including the spectacular North Face Trail (1½ hours), via Schiltalp to the west, leading through wildflower-strewn meadows with big views to the glaciers and waterfalls of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the monstrous Eiger north face – bring binoculars to spy intrepid climbers.
