Museum of Northwest Art

This worthwhile art gallery has a large collection of paintings by the influential Northwest Mystics, a loosely related group of regional artists such as Morris Graves and Mark Tobey who were known for their distinctively Pacific Northwestern ways of expressing nature in their work. Many of these paintings are often on loan to other museums, but the ground floor and the smaller upstairs space both hold interesting temporary exhibitions of painting, sculpture and photography by regional artists.
