Museum of Central Australia - Megafauna Central

Exhibits from one of Australia's richest fossil sites, the Alcoota Waterhole, 150km north of Alice Springs, are on display here. The fossils date back up to 18 million years and include around 30 species, including marsupial lions and wolves, giant wombats and a giant crocodile.
