The National Anthropology Museum houses collections of clothing, images and everyday objects from indigenous cultures in Africa, Asia and the Americas. However, one of the main attractions is the impressive skeleton of 'el Gigante Extremeño' – a giant nearly 2.5m tall, born in a small town in the west of Spain in the mid-19th century.
