We're not sure who Mick is exactly, but his winery/restaurant is mighty charming, occupying a noble former-distillery down a quiet Clare street. Duck in for a tasting, or the all-day kitchen does tapas-style plates ($12 to $25, from 11am), with affordable wines by the glass (go the tempranillo).
