Luen Wo Market

Located northeast of Fanling MTR station, Luen Wo Market (currently closed for restoration) was founded in 1951 by landowners so farmers from the surrounding villages could sell their produce. The simple white structure with black lettering has pillars and high ceilings that make for good ventilation. When it reopens, the market will also have an exhibition space; guided walking and cycling tours in the vicinity are also in the pipeline.
