Lavender House

On the shores of a reedy little lake, this excellent visitor centre introduces you to the history and people of the Tihany peninsula – from its raging volcanic origins to present-day lavender production. There are hands-on activities for kids, as well as a maze and a boardwalk overlooking the lake.
