La Casa del Escultor Roberto Rosas

The biggest treat for art lovers is a 15-minute drive east of the city center, in Guaymallén. La Casa del Escultor Roberto Rosas (lacasadelescultor.com.ar; reserve at visitas@lacasadelescultor.com.ar) is the former workshop of Roberto Rosas, and displays his surreal, Dalí-esque sculptures and woodworks. The late artist’s mind-bending pieces can be found all around Mendoza, but a visit here lets you step into his unique world. Guided tours are with Rosas' English-speaking daughter, Paloma, and can include wine and food if you want to make an afternoon out of it.
