A former light-fixture factory on bustling Kottbusser Strasse has been reincarnated as an artistic sanctuary and creative cauldron for emerging artists from around the globe. Founded in 1975, the nonprofit has launched the careers of hundreds of artists through its artist-in-residence program. Exhibits showcase their work, as well as that of former residents and other artists.
