Key West Lighthouse

You can climb up 88 spiraling steps to the top of this snowy white lighthouse, opened in 1848, for a decent view (perhaps not as striking as it was in the days when a men's clothing-optional resort was next door). You can also visit the lighthouse keeper's cottage, which has photographs and artifacts with historical tidbits on the lives of the keepers of the light.
