Above the town, on Kalvarienberg, looms Bad Tölz’ landmark, the twin-towered Kalvarienbergkirche. This enormous baroque structure stands side by side with the petite Leonhardikapelle (Leonhardi Chapel; 1718), the destination of the town's well-known Leonhardifahrt (Leonardi pilgrimage).
