After about a 3-mile drive south along the east coast (from where the main road reaches the coast), the badly battered road turns into the hills and leads to this well-maintained viewpoint with fixed binoculars and picnic tables. You can see where the island has increased in size due to volcanic activity, as well as the remains of the old airport.
