In the Islamic world, a garden is considered an earthly representation of Paradise. Elche’s past and culture couldn’t therefore be any more obvious than in these privately owned gardens, where humanity and nature have joined forces to produce something that truly approaches that ideal. The highlights are the water features and the cactus gardens.
