The exhibits at Het Natuurhistorisch Museum (Natural History Museum; hetnatuurhistorisch.nl; adult/child €13.50/7.50; closed Mon) are primarily geared towards children, but parents might just feel like kids again, too.

The museum aces delivering facts in a fun way. Floors of exhibits pack in a motley crew of specimens, fossils and bones, ranging from insects to gargantuan skeletons like Ramo the Asian elephant. A lot is packed in without too many steps or spaces where you'll have to carry or chase little ones around. The collection aside, what's more enjoyable than that for parents?
