Completely dominating Mt Cook Village, this famous hotel offers awesome views. While the corridors in some of the older wings can seem a little hospital-like, all of the rooms have been renovated to a reasonable standard (the cheapest do not have mountain views). In addition to the on-site shop and Alpine Centre, there are three dining options of reasonable standard.
