Grotte de Glace

Rainbow-lit caverns, tunnelled 30m into the Glacier des Deux Alpes, delight pint-sized visitors with ice statues of prehistoric and mythic beasts; grown-up guests might be less excited. To get there, take the Jandri Express lift to 3200m (itself a 25-minute, €26 journey).
