Grant County Historical Museum

Located 2 miles south of downtown John Day, in the center of tiny Canyon City, this interesting museum houses gold-rush memorabilia, lots of polished agates and some stuffed two-headed calves. Outside is frontier poet Joaquin Miller's cabin.
