Glynn Vivian Art Gallery

This elegant Italianate building is once again open to the public following lengthy refurbishment, and with a Covid-19-friendly one-way system whisking you round. There is a prestigious collection of Welsh art here – Richard Wilson, Gwen John, Ceri Richards, Shani Rhys James – along with works by Claude Monet and Lucien Freud and a large ceramics collection. It's probably the best attraction in the city center proper.
